We all get requests to raise funds for a charity. This year seems that every time I open the emails, snail mail, or answer the telephone. People are asking.
It is a balancing act, and I don't juggle to well.
Then I realized it doesn't have to be money. Ask if they are also collecting items for a silent auction? Or do they need you to volunteer a couple of hours?
Choices are good, and if you don't ask you won't know.
