NY TIMES - GOOGLE CARDBOARD and other things I learned this week, what did you learn?

I am enrolled in a University of British Columbia Writing/Grammar Course, a suggestion is to read the NY Times!
You may get a different perspective of how sentences are formed, punctuation, and other grammatical
ways that real writers use.
However, I was not aware of how much a copy of the paper cost.  Yes you are seeing correctly I paid $9.82 for the Sunday NY Times.
Secretly, I only wanted the crossword puzzle to try, but I won't let my professor know that.  Wish me luck.

On Friday, I was in the Willowbrook Mall,  Langley, BC this kiosk caught my eye.  I had never heard of Google Cardboard.  As we all should learn something knew, I talked with the person running it.  You input your cell phone into a cardboard thing, and watch whatever.  It is the modern day version of a ViewMaster we used in the olden days.  This kid even has 3 original ViewMasters at home!

My inspirational Goddaughter/Niece Sarah (second from the left) is an officer aboard the Stad Amsterdam currently sailing in Europe, she sent this  picture.  So proud of her.  This is a Tall Ship where they accept passengers.  If anyone wants to send me aboard the ship let me know.  They are going to be crossing the Atlantic Ocean in a few months, WOW would Auntie like to be with her on that crossing.  I have $42.90 in my fund already.  At least I can dream.

MEMORY recall, this is me, and my dear friend Chuck. He took me for 2 race laps around Pacific International Raceway.  Chuck and his lovely wife Pam, had done a South American Rally in this vehicle in 2013 and won.

RACE CAR DRIVER PLEA (so true)
