Kid’s say the darndest things, they did back in the 50’s when Art Linkletter had a hit TV show interviewing kids only, and it has to be true today in 2015. My great nephew is Xavier he is 8 years old, active, quiet kid, whom I love very much. I wanted to find out what he thought about things.
I sent a formal request to him, and his parents to be able to ask him anything, followed up to confirm the interview date, and time.
Q. If you could have any food in the world, what would it be?
- Egg Muffin, Eggs on Toast, Daddy’s Waffles, and Lasagna, ALL at once
Q. If you could have anything to drink, what would it be?
- 7UP, Orange Juice, and Ketchup, would like to drink them altogether even if I only did just once.
Q. In Kindergarten, you said at your graduation ceremony you wanted to be a dancer for your career. Today, what would you like to do?
- Engineer building a Heli-Carrier, and Skyscrapers.
Q. Would you complete Grade 12? and go to University?
- Yes, complete Grade 12, and go to University, but not sure where yet. Would have
to be close to home, as that’s where I’ll live.
Q. What do you think of Math?
- Will need to know about number as needed on measuring for buildings.
Q. Salary when you are working?
- $5,000. a day, or $900. an hour
Q. Favorite Sport and where would you like to do it?
- Judo in Canada, Japan, and China
Q. Do you know what your Mum’s (Teresa) salary is?
- $22. an hour, which is $3,000. to $4,000. a year
Q. Do you know what your Dad’s (Dan) salary is? (Xavier’s dad is currently going to school full time, and not working)
- When he is working $3,000 per year
Q. If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go?
- New Zealand
Q. Favourite restaurant anywhere?
- White Spot, in Canada this serves kids, everything in a Pirate Pack!
Q. Will you marry?
- Yes, my wife and I will have 5 children, 4 girls, and 1 boy. They will come girl, boy, girl, girl, girl.
Q. If Poppa (Xavier’s grandfather, my brother) showed up suddenly, and wanted to take only you anywhere for 2 weeks, where would you go?
- New Zealand, and Cuba
Q. Where would you like your next family trip to be?
- Disneyworld in Orlando, Cuba, and Disneyland
Q. If you could meet anyone in the world who would it be?
- Space Monkey, the 1st monkey in space.
Q. As you know we have some special people who have gone to heaven, if you could meet any of them who would it be? (I did tell him the question would be a sad one)
- Teresa’s Mum, Dan’s Mum, and Poppa’s Dad.
Q. Volunteer and Charity work is important, would you help someone?
- Yes, I help with Cancer charities

- Jupiter
Q. What do you think of Politics?
- What’s Politics, never heard of it.
Q. Grade 2 School what do you like, and dislike?
- Like Math, and Gym. Dislike writing, but trying to improve.
