Thomas Henry Smith

March 1, 1914 to April 4, 1995, age 81,  left us 20 years ago today.

Daddy

Oh my Papa to me he was so wonderful, a beautiful song written for me to think of you!!

An awesome father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.  He was always there to help anyone anytime, and did, especially his family.

Mum and Daddy

Karen, Kirk, Greg, and Wendy

A pilot during the WW2, carpentry/upholstery, policeman, computer literate in the 70‘s, camper, volunteer, sail boat owner, fisherman, driver, golfer, traveller, loved Ice Cream, fish and chips! and so many more things!  I have probably left a million things off his talents, they were so many.

California still beckons to me, as it did to you.

Maggie and Cary

So many twigs have been added to the family tree in the last 20 years, you would be so proud of each and every one of them.  Such adventurous souls, no one sits still for long, they are off far and wide to meet new people. volunteer,  and try new things.  Just as you Daddy and Mum showed us how to do.

Today in 2015, Mum the family matriarch at 95 keeps us all in check, and loves additions to the family,  learning new things from the little ones, and what they are up to.

We are truly a lucky family to have had you Daddy,  but I knew it was your time when you left us, as the pain was to much, and no one should suffer.  God has a special angel with you.

hugs and love always
karen and charlie
