What a change a week makes, my outlook is so much better, I have had good sleeps, friends, and family have sent words of wisdom. I treasure my sister Wendy more than she will ever know. Many friends have accomplished their life goals this week, I am so proud of them. Margie walked a marathon in Oregon, she is and always has been an inspiration to everyone she meets. Tony, Matt, Mark, Tom, John, Ken, etc. etc. went to Indy and raced for the last 5 days, all are coming home in one piece which is always the goal. There may be some dimples in the race cars, but the people are intact. They kissed the bricks at start finish too. This group keep everyone informed with race results, videos, emails, Facebook, we felt like we were there with them all.
My friends are important to me, but I can't fix them when they are sick, I can tell them I can pray for you, do chores, but I can't fix them, yes this makes me frustrated. I must accept the things I cannot change.
Below is Arizona and me, but with a different outcome on our day holidays I drag her too.
Cheese making is going to be the next one! You should have seen the look when I said that.
ASK for help if you need it. I called my favourite Fort Bragg, California store, Pippi Longstocking to order something special for friends, then asked if she would walk down the street Mendocino Cookie Company, and put 3 of their peanut butter cookies in my order. Kate said YES. What a treat when it arrives, cookies and socks!
PS the little ones were just here, Dan fixed my oven door when I asked. Thank You Everyone.
Hugs always
Karen and Charlie
